One of our many customers is Alff a Bet who are publishers of Welsh language Greeting Cards of exceptional quality. The Alff a Bet range of Greeting Cards uses the stunning artwork of artist Vivien Thomas.
These pen and ink creations are taken from Vivien Thomas original works. Numbers, letters and icons are placed on beautiful and intricate backgrounds, creating a range of cards relevant to all occasions. Furthermore, they’re proudly designed in Wales and printed and foiled at Johnsons.
This stunning range of cards uses different coloured foils to highlight the different card themes. The foils compliment the stunning artwork reproduced in black ink and give a great example of our short and long run print and foil capabilities.
Print and foiling cards
As you can see from the card designs, the additional foil adds another dimension to the artists work. Also, the use of different foil colours compliments each design and offers a unique metallic style to the artwork.
We can foil using block for long runs, or for shorter runs of cards, we can foil laminate. Both giving a fantastic look to the finished greeting card. Quantities of the print run will determine which is the most cost effective way of producing your designs with foil.
